The BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya Topping Off event, held from 30 November to 2 December 2024, marked a significant milestone in the school’s journey towards providing future-ready education.

 Over three days, guests, including parents, partners, media representatives, and influencers, came together to celebrate this momentous occasion with a series of engaging activities and performances.

Mr. Alexandre Trespach Nenes, Principal of BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya, highlighted the significance of the topping-off ceremony. He emphasised that the completion of the building structure brings them closer to welcoming the BINUSIAN community to a campus designed to lead the way in digital transformation and sustainability.

Mr. Alex highlighted that BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya represents the future of education with its green campus, state-of-the-art facilities, and a team of highly qualified local and expatriate teachers. Exciting Highlights of the Event

The three-day Topping Off event offered a vibrant array of activities designed to engage and inspire attendees. The formal topping-off ceremony marked the near completion of the school building, symbolising the progress toward realising BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya’s vision. Parents enjoyed an insightful session during the Parents’ Talk, where the school’s philosophy and educational goals were shared.

The Partner Gathering fostered stronger connections with the school’s collaborators, while children delighted in the specially curated Kids’ Playground filled with fun and interactive activities. 

Health and wellness were key themes, with a Mini Medical Check-Up and Health Talk encouraging attendees to prioritise their well-being. Meanwhile, a Career Assessment offered valuable guidance for students and parents exploring future career pathways.

The event also included a Media Gathering, where press representatives had the chance to learn about the school’s vision and tour the facilities. During the Open House, parents and prospective students marvelled at the state-of-the-art infrastructure and thoughtfully designed classrooms, all set to provide an exceptional learning environment.

Adding to the celebration, the BINUS SCHOOL Orchestra delivered a mesmerising performance that left the audience in awe and marked the event as both memorable and inspiring.

Parents and guests expressed their admiration for the event and the school’s vision. Dani, one of the invited parents, shared his gratitude for the opportunity to attend. He praised BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya for its focus on both character development and academic excellence. 

After the school tour, he noted, “The classrooms are impressive and perfectly designed for students’ needs.”

Influencer Amanda Kohar also shared her amazement at the scale and quality of the campus, which spans 2 hectares. She noted that the facilities were outstanding and emphasised that the space reflected the school’s dedication to providing an exceptional educational experience.
