Have you seen the signs around school saying Red Zone or Green Zone? Wondered what they actually mean? Here is everything you need to know about them and how they help keep you safe and comfortable every day at school.

🔴 What is the Red Zone?

The Red Zone is an area that is only for students and authorised members of the BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya community. This includes teachers, school staff and other team members who support your learning.

This is your space to study, play and enjoy student life without distractions. It includes classrooms, corridors, and other learning spaces where you can focus and feel secure.

Parents, guardians and guests are not allowed in the Red Zone during school hours unless they have been given special permission by the school.

🟢 What is the Green Zone?

The Green Zone is a space for parents, guardians and visitors. These are areas like the main lobby or waiting areas where non-students can sit and relax while school activities are taking place.

However, students must not enter the Green Zone during school hours unless given permission by a teacher or staff member. This is to help everyone stay focused, safe and organised throughout the day.
