Innovation that Inspires: BINUS SCHOOL Grade 11 Students Win Silver at the Bali International Science Fair 2025

This spirit of innovation was proudly demonstrated by our Grade 11 students, whose project Air Purilight: An Integrated Solution for Lighting and Air Purification Based on Solar Energy for Urban Environments won them a Silver Medal at the Bali International Science Fair 2025.

The Bali International Science Fair is a prestigious platform where young innovators from across the globe present their ideas to address real-world challenges. To stand out in such a competitive arena requires not only scientific knowledge but also determination, teamwork, and vision. Their project, Air Purilight, integrates two vital urban needs, clean air and sustainable lighting, into one innovative system. By harnessing solar energy, their design provides environmentally friendly lighting while also purifying polluted air in city environments. This dual function reflects a deep understanding of today’s challenges: balancing the demand for energy with the urgent need to improve environmental quality.
