Hands-On Fun and Learning: Welcome to BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya’s Makerspace

Let me tell you all about our Makerspace at BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya!

The Makerspace is a special place where you get to build, create, and explore using both technology and hands-on activities.

In many schools, all the technology like robots and virtual reality is put into the Makerspace. But at BINUS, the Makerspace is all about a mix of tech and real-life experiences.

For example, in the Makerspace, we have a Bakers’ Corner. Here, students follow recipes to make delicious things like cookies, biscuits, bread, crackers, and muffins. We provide everything you need to bake and have fun learning!

We also have a Lego Corner, where you can build and create with Lego bricks. This is where you learn about engineering, building, and designing. Anything that involves constructing, making, or creating whether it’s with technology like Lego or using your hands—happens in the Makerspace.

Right now, the Makerspace has just the Bakers’ Corner and the Lego Corner. And guess what? There aren’t any teachers or staff always there, so it’s a place for you to explore, experiment, and learn with your friends whenever you like.

So, if you love making things, building cool stuff, or baking yummy treats, the Makerspace is the perfect place for you!
