Holiday Program: One Week, Countless Memories

From 20–27 June 2026, BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya welcomed over 200 participants from across Surabaya for a week of exciting holiday experiences. Designed to inspire learning beyond the classroom, the Holiday Program featured a diverse range of engaging programmes, including the Roblox Studio Workshop, Personal Color Analysis, Public Speaking, Sports Clinics, Heritage Tours, and various creative workshops. Each session encouraged participants to explore new interests, develop practical skills, and create unforgettable memories with new friends. More than just a holiday program, it became a journey of discovery,

“It was fun! I never strolled around Surabaya and learned about the heritage in my own hometown. It was such an amazing moment for me, ” shared Keisha, reflecting on her Soerabaja Heritage Tour experience. Meanwhile, Clarissa discovered something new about herself after joining the Personal Color Analysis session. “Now I know which color palettes suit me best. ” With smiles, curiosity, and countless memorable moments, the Holiday Program once again demonstrated that the best learning happens when fun and discovery go hand in hand.

Among the many programmes offered during the BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya Holiday Program, the Heritage Tour invited participants to explore the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. The journey included a visit to Balai Pemuda Surabaya, one of the city’s iconic historical landmarks, where students learned about its architectural significance, cultural legacy, and its role in Surabaya’s development over the years. Guided by interactive storytelling and discussions, participants gained valuable insights into the city’s past while strengthening their appreciation for local history and culture. Beyond visiting historical sites, the Heritage Tour encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness, demonstrating how meaningful learning experiences can take place beyond the classroom and inspire students to become more connected with the communities around them.

The Padel Coaching Clinic offered participants an exciting introduction to one of the world’s fastest-growing sports through expert coaching and hands-on practice. Throughout the session, students learned the fundamentals of padel, refined their techniques through engaging drills, and put their skills into action during friendly matches in a fun and supportive environment. Beyond developing athletic skills, the clinic fostered teamwork, communication, confidence, and sportsmanship while encouraging participants to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle. The experience reflected the Holiday Program’s commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for learning, growth, and discovery beyond the classroom.
