BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya provides a caring, supportive, and safe learning environment focusing on the holistic development of the child.

At BINUS SCHOOL Surabaya, our Early Years programme takes a unique approach, using inquiry and project-based learning to foster discovery and personal growth without relying on final tests. We focus on developing key attributes such as being reflective, knowledgeable, caring, a thinker, risk-taker, inquirer, open-minded, communicator, balanced, and principled. Our teaching methods enhance essential skills, including critical thinking, communication, social interaction, self-management, organisation, research, information literacy, and media literacy. This ensures a comprehensive and enriching education that supports every child’s development.

The early years curriculum integrates the Indonesian national standards, and students explore different subjects such as arts, languages, mathematics, physical education, religion, science, and social studies.

We recognize that children learn and express their thoughts in many different ways. We nurture children’s curiosity, promote learner agency, and work with parents and other members of the school community in developing internationally-minded students.
