Aurelia Atelier Presents: Regal Rose Collection, A Celebration of Creativity, Collaboration, and Courage

Student achievements are not only measured by academic excellence but also by how passion, creativity, and innovation are transformed into meaningful projects. This spirit of creativity shone brilliantly through the work of Sharon (Grade 10), who brought her Personal Project to life in a stunning fashion show under her own label, Aurelia Atelier.

The highlight of the event was the launch of Sharon’s “Regal Rose Collection,” a series of designs that embodied elegance, imagination, and dedication. What started as sketches on paper grew into a complete collection, with every piece reflecting Sharon’s learning journey as she worked to sketch, create, and evaluate her own designs. Her determination turned an individual passion into a real-world showcase, proving that young learners can transform their ideas into impactful outcomes when they are empowered with guidance and courage.

But Sharon’s project went beyond her personal achievement. In true BINUSIAN spirit, she also created space for others to shine. Collaborating with The Youth Art Society, she invited Grade 9 Design students from Mr. Nikhil’s Design Class to showcase their own fashion creations during the show. This act of mentorship and collaboration not only elevated the event but also demonstrated Sharon’s leadership and her belief in the power of community. It was a celebration of both individuality and teamwork, highlighting how creativity flourishes when it is shared.

Such a meaningful project was made possible with the support of dedicated mentors, including Mr. Laughlin, our MS&HS Journeys Coordinator, whose guidance was instrumental in helping Sharon navigate her journey from concept to runway. His encouragement ensured that the project was not only successful but also deeply reflective of Sharon’s learning goals and growth as a designer.

The Regal Rose Collection is more than just a fashion show, it is an inspiring reminder that passion, when combined with perseverance and collaboration, can blossom into something extraordinary. Sharon’s journey reflects the essence of what it means to be a BINUSIAN: daring to dream, working hard to achieve, and uplifting others along the way.
